i like the shot a lot. I am not a fan of the number labels - not sure what i would prefer..perhaps those save circle and number icons carved into the plastic might be overboard..maybe some kind of notches might go better with the minimalist design.

that aside - just wondering if you used edge weights
Looks good, you have such a high quality pictures? I mean antialiasing.
Nicely done! Love the Aeropress. Makes me wanna go home and make some coffee. :D
Thanks a lot!

Nice, clean and crisp renders Mikko. Just curious to compare approaches...what's your approach to getting the reflectors to reflect along the full height of the product when you have a floor interrupting the reflections. Your render where the product is sitting on a reflective ground wouldn't actually reflect the light reflectors all the way down to the bottom of the product unless you employ some trickery. Is your approach to composite two renders or do you do something different?

cheers, Rod.

Well, I used relatively huge reflectors comparison to ground plane, and I placed them little bit farther away from the ground plane. Here is screenshot from the setup, what I used for that image. Hope this clarify.. :)

Thanks for replying Mikko,
I see that you have a fairly low view close to the ground plane which makes this more simple. I wasn't sure if it was all naturally in camera or composited later. see this example. if the camera is slightly higher off the ground plane then the ground plane actually interrupts the reflection of the highlight reflectors and keeps you from having those nice long reflections down the whole side of the object. The higher the camera view, the more reflection gets cut off. So far, the only way I know how to get the angle a bit higher AND the kind of reflections I want is to cheat and render once without the ground plane (for the reflections) and once with the ground plane. then composite together in post.
