Greetings all!

Our webmaster has just finished up the Luxology bug reporting system. You can gain access to it in the following way



In your account link at the top of the home page go to



Click on My Bug Reports



Here you can see the bugs you submitted and add new ones



The more thorough you are with the reports the faster the problem can be resolved.


Having individual reports on problems that you're experiencing will lead to a better modo for all.

my login dosent seem to have the bug reporting link..

can someone pls help me with this...doin a tutorial onthe poly mask...seems easy till i hit the vertex wt. road block.....when applied to the vtx. wt. material ..it dosent behave the way it shows in the tutorial..i mean i dont get that gradient

yup workin on the eval version...but to the best of my knowledge they have not disabled a single button or limited any parameters on the eval...do you think it could be the eval version??

also other problem i am facing is while applying the noise material...the frequency ratio setting cant be cranked above value=10...which i have seen the tutorials been done.

There is nothing limited in the trial/evaluation version of the modo 202 application or content but the bug submission form is restricted to registered users/owners of modo.

Do you want to post a bit more information about your issue in a product support thread in the forums. I'll have a go at reproducing the errors and if it is a repeatable bug i'll submit it.

My evaluation of Modo 202 crashes a lot when i am working with the UV editor to map an object.

When i try to create a map with projection type set as Atlas 2 it always crashes.


Sorry if this is not the right place to post this.

I really like Modo, but can't get anywhere with it if it crashes...

is the bug report link still working? I added a system profile but I keep trying to report a bug and it keeps asking me to add a System Profile.
Hello guys. Is there someone who can tell me why everytime I pres SHIFT-ALT to pan in modo the software hangs?

I did a full recovery of my system and reinstalled de software. But none of them solved the problem. Please help!!

Can you give us more information about your system?

What video card are you using? Are the drivers the latest ver? Are you on Windows or OS X. Is VBO on or off from within modos preferences.

I have a HP dv 6060 ea laptop with windows xp home edition installed. My video card is a Nvidia go 7200 with the latest drivers from hp installed. And the VBO is on off.

With the VBO on or offI still get the error while panning:

szAppName : modo.exe szAppVer : 203.20281.0.0 szModName : hungapp
szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000

And these are the files includen in the error report:

C:\DOCUME~1\Albert\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERf7f5.dir00\modo.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Albert\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERf7f5.dir00\appcompat.txt

probably video driver related. Try installing the latest NVidia drivers from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/

Unfortunately I can't find Nvidia geforce go 7200 drivers on http://www.laptopvideo2go.com. I will take a look somwhere else.

I can't understand why NVidia doesn't release standard drivers for all laptop video cards.

Hei Dennis thanks for pointing me in de Drivers issue.
I installed a 3th party driver:
( Xtreme -G_mobileforce_xp 97.92_M4) My system crashed and I saw a blue screen scaring the hell out of me. But after rebooting was everything normal again, and for my surprise was the problem of panning in modo with keyboard keys solved!!

So.. I can start learning modo without problems now.

I had to try a couple of drivers before i found the right one. Don't get discouraged when you have another crash ;)
Hi!
Just got imagesynth 2. Within the application, it works great - but produces bizarrely wrong color output.
Tried to make bug report, but there seems no way to send you pix in the bug report form.
Tried to upload the images to my account page, but only one made it -- the correctly colored image in the workspace of the application!
Others caused upload errors.
I note that one of the images, the .bmp one is misreporting its size at zero k!
The others are nicely compact at about 200 k or less.
Am I the only one having this problem??
Is this the site I should report errors for this application?

It usually means that its a duplicate or has been moved into the internal DB. No need to file again.

Teako: As your video card was manufactured after modo 302 was released, it just hasn't been included in the list of tested/compatible video cards.

There's no need to take much notice of that message.

Make sure your running the latest video drivers for your card - if it still is freezing, goto System | Preferences | OpenGL and disable VBO. You will need to restart modo for the changes to take effect.
hello! sorry maybe i will post something wrong (bad english and bad place to make this question) but I have this kind of problem:
temporary key for trial version of modo doesn't work.
I installed every components of your trial software (program, videos and key generator), but when I try to run it suddenly closes up after key research.
How can i do to make it work?thank you for every information about.

PS: i would like to post it on my bug reporting systm but i read that doesn't exist for trials account..
Ah Hah! So that's the Event Log I keep reading about but thought it was the Windows Event Log and could never find anything useful there! So where does one access the modo Event Log?
