Is it just me or is anyone else having problems at about the time Brad starts talking about "V"? The audio is becoming horribly distorted.

Thanks for the modcast Brad, and thanks for the mention! :)
I have the distortion at the mention of "V" too.
Aww! Brad - it's very noble and dignified to make the noise of a cow - or a brontosaurus - or to sing a Christmas carol! It's wonderful and brings joy to all the Luxology community and at the holiday season, or any for that matter, there is nothing more noble than bringing joy. Ohh- now I sound like a "Hallmark" film. lol! ;)
Enjoy your holidays!

Brad,
As always, thank you for all the interesting news, and for your down-to-Earth approach to all of that. I couldn't be happier with the product, the team, and the community. Looking forward to all the new training material, "kits", etc., and feature add-ons that will happen. Cool.
And Brad... In the Steve Jobs "one more thing" tradition... Thank you for sacrificing your dignity, for our listening pleasure.
Have a great holiday!

Thank you for the modcast!
At note about your generous upgrade policy. Sad to say the funny little saying, "No good deed goes un-punished.", fits well. It's too bad there are negative repercussions for your openness and generosity. Please know the vast majority truly appreciate what you and yours are doing.
Thanks!

Oh and my resent self experience with Adobe update: I have a former version of a product for win and want to update to mac version. Ok, I need to send in a paper with a declaration. It takes 1-2 weeks till the paper (send by email) is approved, then it takes 3 days to approve my credit card and another 7 working days to send my the dvd. There is no download license outside in Europe and no they can't send me serial in advance. Because I ordered an english language version I get a little discount (about 7%) but order time takes longer. So, its even Christmas time and they told me that I can have my copy in 3-4 weeks. Hm, well I think that's what costumer service shouldn't be.

OSX 64-bit modo: unless a beta version would be prone to wiping out a hard drive, I would be happy to use it even if it is rather wobbly.
My principal need for 64-bit is to do high-res renders with displacements, so I wouldn't envision spending much time working with modo in 64-bit; it would be chiefly to queue renders. As long as I could resume renders should modo wink out, I'd like to use it ASAP.
Thanks for the modcast update, and I hope you and yours and everyone at Luxology have a wonderful holiday break, and best wishes for the new year!

You must play with your family in "Settlers of Catan" - with my brother and friends we test lots of boardgames, and Settlers are in top 3. (with Carcassone and Beans I think). Great family enterteinment for holidays.

Hey there. In the modcast Brad talks about upcoming tutorials, just wondering what happened to the Robot tutorial by Rich Hurry and Andrew Brown. Did i miss something, is it delayed or skipped? Merry Christmas to all of you.

Hey Bobo, I'm betting Richard's rigging tutorial is still in the queue... but, going by Richard's past projects, I bet he is putting in everything and the kitchen sink in to this next series.
Several modcasts ago Brad even mentioned that they might have to 'reign in' Richard... to which we all said 'no!, we want as much rigging goodness as possible'.
So, Richard is likely doing just that :)
On another note, Brad, thank you very much for such a detailed update on OSX, it's very good to know just where it's sitting, that way we don't let ourselves get too worked up hoping it's just around the corner.
I know we all really appreciate just how much you let us know, rather than keeping the fans in the dark. So, thank you again for another great modcast, and for all of the updates, they are really fun to hear.
To another great year for Luxology, thanks again, and have a good holiday :)
