ok, maybe you noticed that there weren't any updates anymore for the future sledge car. the reason for that is that i started with school again and we allready got some assignments...

for 3D we have to do an adaptation of an existing cartoon.
i've chosen for this one:

for the moment i'm modelling the character but coult use some help with the clothing and the hair.
how would you guys approche the hair modelling and his sweater?

also do you think the topology is good for extreme faces? suggestions on how i could improve it are welcome...

nice one dresse,

As for the cloths its kinda hard to describe the best way to do them. You can always do it traditional. With Just normal modeling without haveing to model his arms underneath it. Or you could model the body underneath and run dynamics with the cloth on top. But that gets sticky and takes a lot of time to tweak. Anyways hope that makes some sense. Good luck

i'm not really happy with most of the animation becouse after 3weeks working on this movie i began having pain in my arm... RSI... so it was hard to finish it in the given deadline...

but you'll see when i put it online :)

Very expressive character - I think it captures the cartoon great!
What did you use for render/animation? That quality is very good too!

thx all,
animated en rendered in lightwave.
the building and the shot with the mirror was done with fprime, ray trace reflection takes too long with f9 in lightwave :)

finally...
i know most of the animations are pretty weak. i know i can do better, i blame it on the RSI. (mouse-arm)...

sound, animation, modelling, rendering, lightning... all done by Dries Renglé... -> me :)
