Here is this weeks modcast!

BTW! I forgot to mention in the modcast, the not so limited time only promo of bundling imageSynth with modo will end with the release of modo 301. So congrats to everyone who got it for free! :) And for those who have not upgraded to 203 yet, you should do that now in order to get imagesSynth AND the 301 upgrade. Don't say I didn't warn ya!

How about some "programmer art"?

As promised I bring to you the, Bobicopter animation from VP of Marketing, Bob Bennett!

Stuart continues on with his robot theme (he actually makes robots in the real word too).

Arnie, fan of Ultimate, shows his stuff.

While Yazan isn't a developer he is helping with the docs so this one sneaks in!

Gregory goes for a "walk in the forest".

Correction Brad, Wikipedia says it is September 21st if you follow Astronomy ;)

There are many forms on wikipedia hehehe.

Anyway, thanks for the update :)

(honestly, i'll get shot for this, but i just bought ZB3 today so im glade 301 isn't here. I can't handle 2 new toys in one day lol)

From Wikipedia :)

However, because the seasonal lag is less than 1/8 of a year (except near large bodies of water), the meteorological start of the season, which is based on average temperature patterns, precedes by about three weeks the start of the astronomical season. According to meteorology, summer is the whole months of December, January, and February in the Southern Hemisphere, and the whole months of June, July, and August in the Northern Hemisphere. Today, the meteorological reckoning of the seasons is gaining broader acceptance, with Australia using this system predominately, but the astronomical definition is still more frequently used in other parts of the West.

*edit*
haha, originally i wrote "Astrology" vs "Astronomy" :D

---
401 made me switch from Linux to OSX so i could use it. Guess i should be glad it didn't ask for more. :)

Ya your right Brad, that keyboard and mouse time-line is really awesome. He's a good friend of mine and use to be a Co-worker. ( Just had lunch with him today and he was excited about the Clients response) I have him to Thank for turning me on to Modo. Modo is really starting to BOOM in our field. Thanks for the 'Release Date' info I greatly appreciate it. I work in the game industry and know exactly what it means to go through release candidates but it's always good to hear things are in that stage and not stalled somewhere else.

Looking forward to animating in 301.

I heed your warning, Brad.

I left my upgrade to the last minute. But I didn't miss out. I just put my 301 order in now. Thanks for the warning. :)

Absolutely amazing!
I wished that I was half as good of an artist as Khalid.
I've got no sculpting talent at all.

Looking forward to the release of 301.
Won't be long now.

Have a good holiday everyone.
