Nothing but goods.
modcast
Often the small things are overlooked. I thought we should take a moment to see some very nice enhancements to the Shader Tree for streamlining complex projects and cleaning up unused materials.
Proper Shader Tree Hygiene
Don't ask questions, just go pre-order this book. It is a wonderful resource. The supporting web page is pretty killer too! HDR Handbook
Check out what Andy made last night. Not bad!

Another whoopsie in the modcast - we get a chunk of the "Should we prerelease some of the 301 training? Goodnight." in the middle, which makes the stuff afterwarsd sound like real gobbledegook :D

the sculpt was decent, but i would love to see a insanely detail wrinkle old dude, just to see if Modo image base sculpting can produce that kinda detail.

Thanx Brad for this video tutorial. It brings indeed some organization in Shader Tree. I still wish a better preview of the materials but I'm sure it is on your "to do" list, so I'm not going to nag about this anylonger. Boy! I'm dying to put my hands on Modo 3.0.1
cheers
Ps. Nice new avatar Brad ;-)

Filtering by selection is a great addition and is going to be of tremendous help. Getting rid of unused meterial is also great organizer, I hope in addition to the top menu it gets mapped to the rick click menu when over the shader tree too.
