Just back from traveling. Andy Brown is helping me with some of the help videos. These are the "bite sized" videos that are activated from within modo. Some of these features are in 203 but they are all good and the videos are all new so I thought I would share anyway. Have a taste!
Project from View
Unwrap basics
UV Symmetry
UV Peeler
UV Relax
Fit UV
Pack UV
And a quick clip from Greg Leuenberger messing around making mountains out of mole hills...er...polygons! :) This was a 10 minute session time-lapsed to 2 minutes. This is a great example of how sculpting will be useful for archviz users etc. Once you have worked with sculpting flow inside the traditional modeling tools you really start to see a wider range of uses.

O_O UVs....alot of UVs.
thanks Brad! :D Im sure alot of game artist are going to be happy to see them!
EDIT: I just watched the UV video, it really doesn't show how great the unwrap function is in 301. I can't really see how its "best in industry bar none", compare to something like "UV Layout". Maybe its there, but the video doesn't really do a good job of showing it.

The last video is cruzin', I've always suspected that's about the speed Andy actually works when he's not slowing down to explain.

Quite possibly, but that's Greg being the creative streak. All the others are Andy.
Speaking of high speed, looks like Brad and Co are flat out, like a lizard drinking, through to the big day. Guess its what he gets paid for, but... Thanks for coming in and getting the vid's out to us, Brad. Must've been the last thing you felt like doing, after your travels.

the sculpting tools look interesting, and certainly expand modo's range of capabilities, but honestly i just don't get the archviz connection. as an architect myself, i can imagine only a few instances (and i have to do alot of imagining) where they may prove useful. perhaps it's just my particular set of needs, but sculpting would be be in the triple digits on a personal feature request list. that is to say, near the bottom of the list. i again find myself wondering whether lux needs someone on board who understands this section of the market a bit better, or that they understand it perfectly, and it's just not a priority. hard to say. nevertheless, the sculpting tools look cool. i just wish i had some use for them.

great thanks Brad.
Sculpting looks nice. Though I must say the Pack UV's tool does not really do a good job of using as much UV space as possible.

Thanks Brad, Andy might want to edit the Unwrap video though. He says Itinerations instead of Iterations at one point! :D
Edit: Same error in the UV relax vid.

Nice stuff !
Relax and Symmetry look really neat.
Someone know if there will be a way to display the distortion amount of the UV Layout in the UV view ?
Like on Headus UV Layout for example. I never used this software, but on the demonstration videos, this looks sooo useful.

Wow, uv simmetry comes back ! I didn't understand why this feature was omitted in 201, happy to see it again!
And well, pack UV will save me a lot of work :)
I adore making UV inside of modo, it let me do the job at the speed of sound.
Good job!

Adrian. without numbers in the squares how do you know that mapping isn't reversed?

It's intentional, so when he looks in the mirror he doesn't get confused about whether the mapping is in fact reversed or just appears reversed to him (a conundrum that would surely keep him awake at night).

well regardless of mapping orientation, he can always be 100% sure that he looks like a dumbass.
