modcast
I love this image. Alex is mad! Such a great example of what makes modo cool. Structured organics. Organic flow with mechanical control. Neat-o.
Movie? Integration is a good thing. Flash version
Thanks to Greg Leuenberger for the video! I made one similar (but not as good!) for the training kit that I may post later. Just for fun. If I get to it. Maybe. Or not. ;)

Animated morphs, very cool stuff. Can instances have morphs animated seperately from their parents?
Thanks Greg, great video demo.

Does Brad sound a little loopy today? Harlem Globe Trotters? Brad was all over the place during the start of the modocast. I heard the squeaking chair and I heard some sort of popcan on Brad's desk there.

methinks that what isn't chosen to be demonstrated can be as informative as what is. i'm sure improvements have been made with the splotch issue, however they might be more incremental than dramatic. in the absence of any evidence, it seems we'll just have to wait for the release to answer the question.

not yet - no expressions in 301. This kind of thing would probably be exported via FBX to Maya or XSI anyway.
I was going to add vector displacement wrinkles animating on as well but I ran out of time. That's one of the advantages of being able to sculpt via 32bpc images maps. You can keep a low-res cage for traditional animating and layer on as many wrinkles or furrows as you want via image maps.
But yeah - no expressions yet (or better yet a connection editor).

Is there such thing in 301?
*edit* n/m, gred answered.
--- 401 made me switch from Linux to OSX so i could use it. Guess i should be glad it didn't ask for more. :)

Either I was having a Twilight Zone moment, or there's a glitch in the modcast. At 8:03 into the modcast there was flashback to last weeks modcast... hope it's just me.
