For whatever reason my pc switches from QWERTY to AZERTY all the time. It's particularly annoying when i want to undo something cause then it thinks i'm pressing Ctrl-w instead of z and closes the scene...
I've been having this problem since modo 103 and hoped it would be gone in 202 ;(
Also, it's limited to modo, never had it with other apps and it doesn't affect the rest of my system when it occurs in modo.
Hope someone can help, thanks!

FYI: still using eval version

As someone who is using SVORAK (swedish dvorak) by default I've messed a fair bit with input languages.

I would guess what you're doing is hitting windows infamous "switch between input languages" hotkey. I think the combination by default is alt-shift or something retarded like that so it's quite easy to hit it by mistake. The reason why it's only happening in modo might be because that's that only application where you use this combination.

Try the following:

In the control panel choose "regional and language options".

In the languages tab, give the button labeled "details" a nudge.

If you see AZERTY in the list here as an option (and you never use it, you can just select it and chose 'remove')

If you still want to keep AZERTY by some esoteric reason then hit the button labeled "key settings" and a little window will pop up allowing you to change the hotkeys (or remove them alltogether).

I think that should sort it out... or maybe I'm utterly wrong and modo is just playing tricks on ya.

anyway, good luck!

Thanks Alstrom! Everything runs smoothly now. I never heard of this windows 'switch between languages' functionality before. Kinda odd to map it to Ctrl+alt... who needs this anyway?
I wonder though why it never stayed stuck in qwerty (azerty is my default) when closing modo? Well, It doesn't matter anymore, I'm happy, so tusen tack!
